*Good Energy locks in low rates for Illinois residents despite recent Ameren Illinois price hike: Press Release

The opt-out package containing Program details and opt-out materials will be sent to eligible account holders on April 9th, 2021. If you wish to participate, no action is required. Your account(s) will be automatically enrolled. If you do not wish to participate, simply send the opt-out card back in the postage pre-paid envelope by no later than Friday, April 30th, 2021. There is no penalty to opt out, and if you decide to enroll in the Program at a later date, you may do so here, or by contacting the supplier, in this case, Homefield Energy.

Very often, the opt-out package is considered junk mail and discarded by addresses. Indeed, the letter is official mail detailing the Program, sent on behalf of your municipality. Please take a few moments to review it when it arrives in your mailbox.

The opt-out package referenced above incorrectly indicates the end date for the new contract with Homefield is December 2024. The correct end date is December 2023.
Homefield will be sending the notice below to all eligible account holders who received the letter. We apologize for any inconvenience.

RE: Important Note Regarding Our Recent Municipal Electric Aggregation Renewal Program Mailing

Dear Valued Resident:

You recently received an opt-out packet regarding your community’s Electric Aggregation Program being offered to eligible accounts which contained an error in the date which the contract expires. On page 1 in the first paragraph and in the first bullet, and on page 1 of the Terms & Conditions, paragraph 1, it is incorrectly stated that the contract expires in December 2024 when in fact, the contract expires December 2023. Please note the term end date of December 2023 was correctly identified in all other documents and on our website.

Enclosed you will find the updated Terms & Conditions that reflect the corrected expiration date of December 2023.

We regret any inconvenience this error may have caused you. We hope that you will continue to participate in your community’s Electric Aggregation program, and allow Homefield Energy the opportunity to serve your electric supply needs.
